Overview
At Brandr, we are looking for a Mid-Level Brand Designer with a specialization in Editorial Design to join our team. As a Mid-Level Brand Designer, you will play a key role in crafting beautiful, high-end design work that includes information design, infographics, and striking editorial layouts.
Responsibilities
- The designer will work under the guidance of the agency's art director.
- The designer will work from provided concepts to craft beautiful, high-end design work, including information design, infographics, and creating striking and informative editorial layouts.
- The candidate will work on a broad variety of projects, adapting to multiple projects each week and juggling them seamlessly with proper prioritization.
- The candidate will communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, to elaborate design choices, views, and workflow decisions.
Required Skills, Tools, and Years of Experience
- 3+ years of visual design experience in a brand or marketing-oriented design role.
- Strong design fundamentals, including proficiency in layout, spacing, typography, and the use of negative space to create visually compelling designs.
- Adaptability to brand guidelines and ability to work within an established brand guide while contributing to its evolution.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- A remarkable portfolio that demonstrates excellence in craft.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity, self-prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be passionate about editorial design and skilled in working with text, illustration, photography, and typography. Previous experience in editorial design and print production is essential, along with the ability to develop custom infographics from presented data. While being an 'ideas person' is not required, the ideal candidate should be versatile, accurate, well-organized, and a great communicator.
